The threat of bad weather blew in a couple of my best local Sword and Tuna boats. The boats were only out a few days and the fish are reported to be outstanding. The boats “Fine Tuna” and “Blue Fin” are packing out their loads in Wanchese North Carolina this morning. Please make sure you have sun glasses on if you are going to buy any of our Tunas. The loins are cherry red and re-define fresh.
Local Swordfish cut to any spec you like. Center Cut/Bone In, Loined or even Steaked. Cherry red tight blood lines with fat oozing off the knife.
Still available for the remainder of the week–amazing pricing on our sushi grade Hiddenfjord Scottish Salmon. Hiddenfjord packs a higher quality fish exclusively for Blue Ribbon. Be on look for boxes carrying the Blue Ribbon Label. As always, we can cut any item to meet any spec.

Blue Ribbon is boasting an fantastic stand of goods to start the week. The Halibut are East Coast Dayboat fish. Great opportunity with 50 lb. and up class. Sword Fish are product of the US caught locally from the Grand Banks. Blood lines are cherry red and the fish are cutting like butter. Fluke prices have dropped to afford a great opportunity to work with fillet from Long Island and New Jersey. Blue Ribbon also boasts some great Sushi Quality Fluke as well. Wild Striped bass have never looked so good. Hours off the boat these fish are still in rigor and are priced at a value. Please give us a call and speak with Dean, Warren, Carmine, or Janine. We are here to help. 718-620-8600

Blue Ribbon is starting the week off with some great opportunities to win every one’s heart. Sword and Tuna are in the lead for great value to start the week. Landings of local Big Eye, and Yellow fintunas as well as Domestic sword are plentiful. We have not seen pricing this aggressive in months on both items. Jumbo Black Sea Bass is also a rare value. The East Coast Halibut off our day boats are earning OOOS, and AAAHHHSS from every buyer in the market. Wild Striped Bass is the Steak Fish of Choice. Day boat Cod is available, but the supply is a bit tight, pushing the price up a bit. This should Correct for the end of the week. The Salmon market is also experiencing a tightening of supply pushing prices up. Be sure to ask about our Norwegian Salmon, exclusive to Blue Ribbon Fish. Our Snappers this week are all domestic from Williams, also exclusive to Blue Ribbon Fish. Please call us with your order or any questions you might have.

March Madness cannot keep up with the bounties of Day Boat Halibut and Wild Striped Bass competing for your attention. We have not seen such drastic price reductions on the Halibut and Striped Bass in quite some time. Although Jumbo Black Bass is still reasonable, prices are climbing off of last week’s lows. Atlantic Snapper is under conservation closure again, tightening Snappersupply and pushing prices up a bit, but availability for the first part of the week is good. In fact the spring run has produced a great volume and selection of different fish up and down the coast. Fluke, Spanish Mackeral, Mahi Mahi, Shark, and Cod are all available in volume. Head fish such as Porgies, Squid, Whiting, Croakers and even Perch fill the stand as if to let everyone know that spring is here. Sword Fish has seemed to have tightened but great values are available in Tunaproduced both domestically and imported There is no better time to visit our market. . Our stand is like a canvas painted in colors and textures only the ocean could create. Please join us. Call with any questions or if you would like a price list 718-620-8600
